What is Supported Independent Living?

Supported Independent Living (SIL) is an NDIS-funded support that provides assistance with daily living tasks for people who live in shared accommodation.

At Just Better Care Sunshine Coast, we work closely with you, your family, and your support coordinator to ensure your SIL supports are personalised, flexible, and aligned with your goals.


Our SIL supports include:

  • 24 hours a day, 7 days a week rostered support

  • Assistance with activities of daily living

  • Medication management and clinical oversight

  • Nursing and complex care support

  • Meal preparation, cooking, and shopping

  • Transport and travel training

  • Community access and social participation

  • Support with routines, independence, and skill-building
