Aged care should value and protect every individual

Just Better Care welcomes aged care Royal Commission.

In-home care provider, Just Better Care Australia, welcomes the government’s decision to establish a Royal Commission into aged care.

“Our community demands and deserves aged care services that value and protect every individual,” Just Better Care Australia Chief Operating Officer, Alison Chandler said.

“Providing the utmost care to older Australians is fundamental to the work we do and I know countless examples of high-standards of care being provided every day.

“The Just Better Care network welcomes the Royal Commission, and the opportunity for open and honest conversation about the continuous improvement of aged care services to best meet the needs and preferences of older Australians.”

Ms Chandler said Just Better Care owners live and work in their local community and take their responsibility to care for people within those communities very seriously and personally.

“Our Just Better Care owners and staff members provide care and support that meets the needs and expectations of each individual,” she said.

“Our staff are trained and experienced. They take the time to get to know our customers and identify the best ways to support them to live safely and confidently at home.”

Just Better Care Australia has robust quality management systems, processes, and feedback channels in place to ensure the quality of all services across the Just Better Care network.

“The quality of care for our customers is at the centre of everything we do,” Ms Chandler said.

Established in 2005, Just Better Care provides in-home aged care and disability support to over 4000 people and employs more than 1600 staff over 30 territories across Australia. Each office is locally owned and operated.
