What is the Support at Home program?

Support at Home is the Australian Government's in-home aged care program. It replaced the Home Care Package program on 1 November 2025 and is now the main pathway for older Australians to get help at home. Just Better Care Adelaide is an approved Support at Home provider, delivering services across Adelaide from our Torrensville office.

How much does Support at Home cost in Adelaide?

What you pay depends on your income and the services you choose. Support at Home includes a government contribution and, in many cases, a personal contribution. Clinical care such as nursing has no co-contribution, and you only pay for the services you use. Our Adelaide Care Partners can explain your likely costs clearly before you commit to anything.

Who is eligible for Support at Home in Adelaide?

Support at Home is for older Australians aged 65 and over, and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people from age 50. Eligibility is determined through a My Aged Care assessment. Start by visiting myagedcare.gov.au or calling 1800 200 422, and once you have your referral code our Adelaide team can begin services quickly.
