In-home Nursing

What is offered as part of in-home nursing?

There are certain support services which can only be provided by medical professionals. If you have an injury, illness, or needs which require regular clinical attention, in-home nursing may be an ideal option. Our registered or enrolled nurses can help you stay on top of medical issues that require professional care, without you necessarily having to leave home.

Our in-home nursing services can include:

  • Wound care
  • Medications and injections
  • Cervical collar care
  • Removal of staples and sutures
  • PEG feeding
  • Health and wellbeing checks
  • Monitoring your vital signs
  • Reducing your falls risk
  • Helping you eat well
  • Support with any continence needs, including catheter care

In-home nursing is an integral part of Just Better Care’s offering, and our services are thoughtfully designed to meet your specific medical and individual needs at every step.

High intensity support for people living with disability

Our in-home support teams also have the skills and knowledge to deliver complex support as required by the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) standards.

This high intensity support can include:

  • Complex bowel care
  • Enteral feeding and management
  • Urinary catheters
  • Subcutaneous injections
  • Complex wound management
