What is a Support at Home Budget?
Your Support at Home budget is the amount of government funding allocated to you each quarter to spend on services that help you stay safe and independent at home.
This funding is based on your assessed care needs
- Quarterly funding: Your total budget is distributed every three months.
- Rollover allowance: You can carry over up to $1,000 or 10% of your quarterly budget to the next period if not fully used.
- Top-up options: You may pay privately for additional services, or if you wish to top-up existing services with more service hours.
