Make the Most of Your Support at Home Budget

Quarterly Budgets & Care Plans

What is a Support at Home Budget?

Your Support at Home budget is the amount of government funding allocated to you each quarter to spend on services that help you stay safe and independent at home.

This funding is based on your assessed care needs

  • Quarterly funding: Your total budget is distributed every three months.

  • Rollover allowance: You can carry over up to $1,000 or 10% of your quarterly budget to the next period if not fully used.

  • Top-up options: You may pay privately for additional services, or if you wish to top-up existing services with more service hours.

How Care Planning Works

At Just Better Care, we partner with you to build a personalised Care Plan. This plan is tailored to your preferences, health needs, and goals—so you receive the right mix of services at the right time.

Our approach includes:

  • A budget overview so you understand how your funding can be used

  • A service agreement that outlines what will be delivered and when

  • Regular reviews to update your plan as your needs change
